Oxford cross lambs top Melton at £127

A pen of Oxford cross lambs from Vickie Jones in Leicestershire topped a weekly primestock sale at Melton Mowbray market in July at £127.  Sired by home-bred rams from Vickie’s Billesdons Oxford flock and out of Texel x Mule ewes, the lambs made the top price of 2832 prime lambs and weighed in at 55kg.
